Aquatics
Located at 28600 Eleven Mile Road, at the Costick Center. The
25-yard indoor, five lanes pool, has locker rooms, lockers,
private showers and is handicapped accessible. Join our American
Red Cross learn to swim classes or train to become a lifeguard
with CPR, AED and first aid. Here at the pool, we offer open
swims, birthday parties, pool rentals and Sea the World Scuba
Center offers Scuba classes.
Learn to Swim Classes
Our learn to swim classes are taught by trained, certified,
professional American Red Cross Instructors in a friendly and
warm environment. The American Red Cross programs are available
from 6 months to adult age levels. Classes are taught in small
groups with others of their own skill level. Each participant is
assessed to assure they are in the correct level. Your child
will progress up the levels from beginners to a competitive
swimmer. They will receive a card as they pass from level to
level. Knowing how to swim is a great way to keep safe and have
a lot of fun.
Private or Semi-Private Swimming lessons
Work with a Red Cross Instructor to improve your skills and
advance to a higher level of ability. Times and days are
flexible to meet your schedule and the instructors. You can
schedule as few or as many as you wish. Fees for ˝ hour lesson
are $20 for a single person, $30 for two people and $39 for
three. If you are interested in a semi private lesson you must

Open Swims
Enjoy time swimming with your family or swimming lengths.
There are always two lanes set up for laps during our open swim.
There is equipment for you to use and some toys,
Water Fitness
Our goal is not only to improve one’s overall fitness, but
elicit outcomes for daily functions on land. A few reasons to
try Water Exercise are water’s resistance helps to tone and
strengthen muscles, while providing a cardiovascular workout.
Participants are able to exercise with less bio-mechanical
stress on their joints. Classes are offered Monday-Friday, in
the morning and evening. You can buy a punch card for 1, 2 or 3
times a week for a 7 week session.
