Events, Projects & Programs
Since 1999, several new programs have been
implemented for high school age teens.
The Mayor's Youth Council (MYC) is
comprised of 13 “Sworn-In” Members and over 100 other members.
15 – 20 MYC Members attend bi-weekly board meetings, while
others attend sub-committee meetings. The MYC represents
the view of the youth in Farmington and Farmington Hills and
help determine what programs the Department of Special Services
Recreation Division and Youth & Family Services Division should
offer for youth in our communities.
