NOTICE OF ELECTION CITY OF FARMINGTON HILLS

TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF FARMINGTON HILLS, COUNTY OF OAKLAND:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a State General Election will be held in the City of Farmington Hills, County of Oakland on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 7:00a.m. to 8:00p.m. for the purpose of

electing candidates to the following offices:

PRESIDENTIAL President and Vice President

CONGRESSIONAL Representative in Congress (14th District)

LEGISLATIVE Representative in State Legislature (37th District)

STATE BOARDS Member of the State Board of Education, Regent of the University of Michigan, Trustee of Michigan State University, and Governor of Wayne State University

COUNTY County Executive, Prosecuting Attorney, Sheriff, Clerk/Register of Deeds, Treasurer, Water Resources Commissioner, County Commissioner (13th, 14th and 21st Districts)

JUDICIAL Justice of the Supreme Court (Incumbent Position), Justice of the Supreme Court (Incumbent Position - Partial Term Ending 01/01/2019), Judge of the Court of Appeals 2nd District (Incumbent Position), Judge of the Circuit Court 6th Circuit (Incumbent Position), Judge of the Circuit Court 6th Circuit (Non-Incumbent Position), Judge of the Circuit Court 6th Circuit (Incumbent Position - Partial Term Ending 01/01/2021), Judge of the Probate Court (Incumbent Position), Judge of the Probate Court (Non-Incumbent Position), and Judge of the District Court 47th District (Incumbent Position)

For assistance in determining the accessibility of the polling place locations and the availability of voting instructions in alternative formats such as audio and braille or any other information, please contact the City Clerk’s Office at 248.871-2410.

Persons wishing to obtain an absentee ballot may do so by contacting the City Clerk’s Office. The Clerk’s Office will be open on Saturday, November 5, 2016 until 2:00p.m., the deadline for requesting an absentee ballot to be mailed.
