REGISTRATION DEADLINES
A person must be registered to vote 30 days prior to any
Election in order to be eligible to vote in that Election.
Deadlines to register for the 2012 Elections are as follows:
Monday, January 30, 2012 – Last day to register for the
February 28, 2012 Election
Monday, July 9, 2012 – Last day to register for the
August 7, 2012 Election
Tuesday, October 9, 2012 – Last day to register for the
November 6, 2012 Election
A person may register at any Secretary of State Branch Office,
at their local clerk’s office or by mail.
IMPORTANT: IF YOU REGISTER BY MAIL, you MUST vote in person for
your first Election. This does not apply to persons 60 years of
age or older.
