Zoning Board of
Appeals
The Zoning Board of Appeals is a quasi-judicial
body, appointed by the City Council to act as a board of appeals for
questions arising under the Zoning Ordinance. It is comprised of seven
regular members and two alternates who serve when the regular members
cannot. The Zoning Board of Appeals is empowered to grant variances to
the Zoning Ordinance, to review administrative determinations of the
ordinance, to grant exceptions or special approvals and temporary uses.
