Cell Phone Recycling

Clip Art- Cell PhoneThe City of Farmington Hills Senior Division is currently seeking donations of inactive cell phones in good working order with a car charger or an AC/DC recharging unit. The donated cell phones will be reprogrammed for 911 use only and distributed to senior residents in Farmington and Farmington Hills. Old cell phones can be dropped off at the following locations:  Costick Center, the Farmington Hills Police Department, or the Farmington Public Safety Department.  For more information, call the Farmington Hills Police Department at (248) 473-9695.

Farmington or Farmington Hills senior residents who would like to be added to the list to receive a free cell phone should call the Senior Division at (248) 473-1830 or stop in at the Costick Center for more information.  All seniors participating in the program must take a mandatory training class.
