Holiday Collection Schedule

Collection will not be scheduled on the following six holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. When the above holidays fall during the week, collection schedules will be one day late, with Friday's collection made on Saturday of that week.

When these holidays fall on Saturday, there will be no delay in service the following week.  When they fall on Sunday, there will be no collection scheduled on Monday and collection will be one day behind Tuesday through Saturday.

2008 Holiday Schedule

New Year's Day – Tuesday, January 1, 2008
Tuesday – No collection scheduled. Collection one day behind Wednesday through Saturday.

Memorial Day – Monday, May 26, 2008
Monday – No collection scheduled. Collection one day behind Tuesday through Saturday.

Independence Day – Friday, July 4, 2008
Monday through Thursday collections on schedule. Friday – No collection scheduled. Collection will take place on Saturday.

Labor Day – Monday, September 1, 2008
Monday – No collection scheduled. Collection one day behind Tuesday through Saturday.

Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, November 27, 2008
Monday through Wednesday collections on schedule. Thursday – No collection scheduled. Collection one day behind Friday and Saturday.

Christmas Day –Thursday, December 25, 2008
Monday through Wednesday collections on schedule. Thursday – No collection scheduled. Collection one day behind Friday through Saturday.

New Year’s Day – Thursday, January 1, 2009
Monday through Wednesday collections on schedule. Thursday – No collection scheduled. Collection one day behind Friday through Saturday.
