Motor City Brass BandAward-Winning Motor City Brass Band to Perform in Free Concert July 10, 2008
Where can you hear a big band sound that includes virtually every style of music, from Shostakovich to Setzer, Copland to Motown?  Simply join the concert-goers at the “Stars in the Park” concert series on Thursday, July 10 at 7:30 PM, when the Motor City Brass Band takes the stage at the beautiful new amphitheater at Heritage Park.  The concert is one of nine “Stars in the Park” offerings, sponsored by Daimler Financial Services.  Read the Motor City Brass Band Press Release.

Heritage Park is the perfect setting for the “Stars in the Park” concerts. This series of nine concerts each summer offers a wide spectrum of performances, from local groups such as the Community Band and Chorus to professional jazz, Celtic and big band sounds—even a Beatles tribute band!
