City Brass Band to Perform in Free Concert July 10, 2008
Where can you hear a big band sound that includes virtually
every style of music, from Shostakovich to Setzer, Copland to
Motown? Simply join the concert-goers at the “Stars in the
Park” concert series on Thursday, July 10 at 7:30 PM, when the
Motor City Brass Band takes the stage at the beautiful new
amphitheater at Heritage Park. The concert is one of nine
“Stars in the Park” offerings, sponsored by Daimler

Farmington
Hills Police Department Bicycle Helmet Giveaway Program
The Farmington Hills Police are pleased to announce the
renewal of a program designed to place bicycle safety helmets
where they belong, on the heads of the boys and girls of
Farmington Hills. Once again, the Department has purchased a
number of helmets to be distributed to young residents.

Stars
in the Park Concert Series
Heritage Park is the perfect setting for the “Stars in the Park”
concerts. This series of nine concerts each summer offers a wide
spectrum of performances, from local groups such as the
Community Band and Chorus to professional jazz, Celtic and big
band sounds—even a Beatles tribute band! The concerts take place
every Thursday night, with the exception of the week of July 4
and Founders Festival week, beginning at 7:30 PM.
