CITY OF FARMINGTON HILLS
Public Art Program
The City of Farmington Hills believes strongly in the value
of the arts, and celebrates the talents of artists both within
the City and beyond our borders.
In the fall of 2010, the City launched a brand new Public Art
Program to coincide with the opening of our newly renovated,
beautiful City Hall. The natural light and structure of the
building offers artists many desirable exhibit spaces. The
exhibit showcases over 70 pieces of artwork from 36 artists,
including an incredible array of diverse media and styles,
including wood, glass, photography, oil, watercolor, mixed
media, fiber and metals. The artwork daily enriches the lives of
our citizens, visitors and staff members, and delights all who
enter our City Hall. The artwork is on loan for one year, with
the option for the artist to leave their work on exhibit longer
if so desired.
Artists interested in exhibiting should contact the Cultural
Arts Division at (248) 473-1856. All work must be original fine
art. Both outdoor and interior sculpture, 2-D artwork and wall
sculpture, in any size, will be considered.
Please stop by to view all of this exciting, eclectic collection
of artwork!
