Farmington Hills Youth Choir

Farmington Hills Youth ChoirThe newest addition to the Cultural Arts programming is the Farmington Hills Youth Choir. The Choir was introduced in 2006 to allow aspiring singers to have fun enjoying singing while meeting new friends and gaining knowledge in vocal music in an ensemble setting. The Choir introduces young singers to the basics of choral techniques with a strong emphasis on vocal pedagogy, sight reading, solo and group singing - in an enjoyable group setting that promotes the love of music!

This brand new musical program is tailored to provide the perfect head start for beginning student singers, and as a compliment program for students involved in a choir who wish to expand their vocal experience. Public performance opportunities at the end of each session are included in the program. The class is available to all children in 6th to 12th grade, and is open to both residents and non-residents of Farmington Hills.

Auditions are held in the fall. For more information on the Farmington Hills Youth Choir, call the Cultural Arts Division at (248) 473-1859 or (248) 473-1856.
