Seasonal Weight
Restrictions for Commercial Vehicles
The Farmington Hills Police Department has been notified by the
Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) that the seasonal weight
restrictions will start at 6:00 AM on March 10, 2010. This has no
effect on passenger vehicles and only pertains to commercial
vehicles. Anyone wanting an update on the status of the weight
restrictions can call the RCOC weight restrictions hotline at
(248)858-4765.
You can visit the Oakland County Road Commission website for
the roads effected by the restrictions and commercial carriers are
encouraged to go the to RCOC website for further information.
Violation of the weight restrictions can result in a citation
and fine.
