Economic Development Director
Under the supervision of the City Manager, the Economic Development Director will serve as the primary point of contact for all of the City’s Economic Development and Redevelopment inquiries and opportunities. Work includes promoting the City as a business location by providing resources and technical assistance to businesses contemplating investment and growth in the City by linking to appropriate local, regional, state, and federal resources’ programs. Provides professional expertise and assists in organizing and coordinating the City’s economic development efforts. Acts as a representative to both local and non-resident businesses in order to coordinate available city assistance and to perform advocacy function for these businesses. Develops and maintains communication with local businesses and other interested groups in order to gather and disseminate pertinent information regarding business needs and economic development services.
$75,000 - $90,000/year, depending on qualifications
