The Farmington Hills Adults 50 & Better Program began in 1974 as a drop in program two days a week. One of the very first groups to form was the Painter's Group which still meets today. The Adults 50 & Better program has steadily grown over the years and now provides recreation, travel, education, socialization, fitness, volunteer opportunities, and nutrition, transportation and outreach services.
Daily events are held at the Costick Activities Center, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM, with scheduled evening and weekend programs. Please see “The Messenger
", the Adults 50 & Better Program’s monthly newsletter, and the Special Services Activities Guide
for updated information on all available programs and services.
