The Hawk Makerspace empowers makers of all ages and abilities by providing access to a quality technical space. We work with our participants to foster a culture of community by way of shared resources, shared knowledge, shared experiences, and shared responsibility.
Located within The Hawk, the City of Farmington Hills’ award-winning recreation and arts venue, The Hawk Makerspace is a 5,000 sq. ft. shared community space where you can bring your creative ideas to life.
Our dedicated woodshop and fully equipped craft lab offer a wide range of professional-quality equipment. Use the equipment on your own with a daily, monthly or annual pass or through our guided classes and workshops.
Jumpstart a new hobby or sharpen an old skill with our diverse programming. The Hawk Makerspace offers one-day workshops for a sample of the full experience, as well as multi-week classes for more in-depth skill building. Programs are available to makers of different ages and interests, catering to absolute beginners and experts, including hobbyists, crafters and entrepreneurs.
