The Purchasing Division is a centralized agency responsible for assisting City Departments & Divisions in their procurement activities. Annually this accounts for over $8 Million in purchases. We strive to receive the best value for the goods and services purchased for Farmington Hills needs.

Purchasing Officers Association agency of the year. This esteemed award is presented annually to the agency that has made significant contributions to the Purchasing profession in the State of Michigan. The Farmington Hills staff was credited with its cooperative purchasing efforts, involvement in creating a LEED Certified Gold City Hall, creation of the MITN e-procurement system and its overall tax savings to the City.
