An Oakland County dog license is required for all dogs four months of age or older, and a dog license must be purchased within 30 days of:
  • A puppy turning four months of age or
  • A dog moving into Farmington Hills
The following are required in order to obtain a dog license:
  • Proof of rabies vaccination (must show dog owner’s name and address)
  • Proof of neutering (in order to receive a neutered/spayed fee discount)
