Important Dates to Remember for the August Election:

Thursday, June 25th – Absent Voter ballots will be available in-person at the City Clerk’s Office. First mailing of Absent Voter ballots to voters who have already submitted an application or are on the Permanent Ballot List.

Monday, July 20th - Last day to register to vote in any matter other than in-person at your local Clerk’s Office.

Tuesday, July 21st through Tuesday, August 4th until 8:00pm - A person may register to vote in-person at their local Clerk’s Office with proof of residency.

Saturday, July 25th through Sunday, August 2nd - Early In-Person Voting available at the Costick Activities Center, 28600 Eleven Mile Rd, from 8:30am-4:30pm, except Thursday, July 30th when hours are Noon-8:00pm.

Friday, July 31st 5:00pm - Deadline for voters to request an absent voter ballot to be mailed via first class mail.

Monday, August 3rd 4:00pm - Deadline for registered voters to request an absent voter ballot in-person at the City Clerk’s Office.

Tuesday, August 4th until 8:00pm - A person registering to vote in-person at the City Clerk’s Office may obtain and vote an absent voter ballot with proof of residency or vote in-person at their assigned polling location.  

Tuesday, August 4th - Election Day - Polls are open 7:00am through 8:00pm. All voters in line at 8pm will be able to vote.
