If you are already on the permanent ballot list, you will automatically be mailed a ballot 40 days prior to the election.

Important Dates to Remember for the November 4, 2025 General Election:
Thursday, September 25th – Absent Voter ballots will be available in-person at the City Clerk’s Office. First mailing of Absent Voter ballots to voters who have already submitted an application or are on the Permanent Ballot List.
Monday, October 20th - Last day to register to vote in any matter other than in-person at your local Clerk’s Office.
Tuesday, October 21st through Tuesday, November 4th until 8:00pm - A person may register to vote in-person at their local Clerk’s Office with proof of residency.
Saturday, October 25th through Sunday, November 2nd - Early In-Person Voting available at the Costick Activities Center (28600 W. 11 Mile Rd.) from 8:30am-4:30pm, except Thursday, October 30th when hours are Noon-8:00pm.
Friday, October 31st 5:00pm - Deadline for voters to request an absent voter ballot to be mailed via first class mail.
Monday, November 3rd 4:00pm - Deadline for registered voters to request an absent voter ballot in-person at the City Clerk’s Office.
Tuesday, November 4th until 8:00pm - A person registering to vote in-person at the City Clerk’s Office may obtain and vote an absent voter ballot with proof of residency or vote in-person at their proper precinct.
