WHAT:           Kick off summer in high gear with the City of Farmington Hills at Kickoff 2 Summer, a free annual community event celebrating the start of the season with activities for the whole family. The event features Jump and Jam bouncers donated by Oakland County, special contests, fitness classes, free swimming in the aquatics center, crafts, cornhole, live music, raffles, giveaways and more.

During Kickoff 2 Summer, City officials will mark the one‑year anniversary of The Hawk Nature Trail and Outdoor Classroom, a six‑acre space designed for exploration, learning and outdoor engagement.

Kickoff 2 Summer wraps up with an extra dose of fun as families are invited to stick around for a movie under the stars. The Park It Movie Night, sponsored by Meijer and Weingartz, will take over the football field at The Hawk with a free screening of “Zootopia 2” at 8:15 p.m.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the event. T‑Mobile Fiber is the premier sponsor of Kickoff 2 Summer.
