City of Farmington Hills to Host American Red Cross “Battle of the Badges” Blood Drive on Sept. 10
WHAT: Respond to the call to give blood at the “Battle of the Badges” American Red Cross blood drive hosted in the City of Farmington Hills. The goal for the blood drive is to collect at least 70 pints of blood, which will assist approximately 140 local hospital patients. Attempting donors will get an exclusive Red Cross x PEANUTS t-shirt, while supplies last, and be able to vote for their favorite Farmington Hills first responders.
How to Participate:
· Visit RedCrossBlood.org to schedule an appointment using sponsor code "costickcenter" or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
· Streamlined check-in: Complete health history questions in advance at RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass.
WHO: City of Farmington Hills, in collaboration with American Red Cross, is hosting a blood drive. Ages 16 and up are encouraged to participate in this vital community effort.
Donors ages 18 and up: Minimum weight requirement is 115 lbs.
Student eligibility (16-17 Years): High school students must meet height and weight requirements. A parental consent form must be competed for 16-year-olds.
