May 20: Historic District Commission Spicer House Tour
Join the Historic District Commission for an open house and tour of the 1926 English country style Spicer House as a preservation-in-progress experience. Learn about the alternative products the Historic District Commission considered when the near fifty 50-year-old wood shake roof started to fail. Get a preview of the plans for the Heritage and History Center relocating to the Spicer House.

As an open house, the event will be casual with no presentations. You may come early or late and stay a few minutes or longer. Highlights will include:
- Tours highlighting recent preservation work on the Spicer House, including the new roof,
- Plans for the installation of the Heritage and History Center, and
- An opportunity to meet the volunteer HDC Commissioners and discuss plans for your property or any challenges.
Light refreshments will be served.
