Re:       Pre-processing absent voter counting boards
Sunday and Monday, November 6 and 7, 2022

Dear Secretary Benson:

I am writing to express my intent to utilize pre-processing absent voter counting boards on Sunday, November 6, 2022 during the hours of 7am and 8pm and Monday, November 7, 2022 from 10am until 4pm in order to pre-process absentee ballots received for the November 8, 2022 Election, as permitted by law. It is anticipated that on each day the boards may end earlier based on the volume of absentee ballots received and completion of pre-processing of all ballots delivered to the boards that day.

Pre-processing of the absent voter ballots will be conducted at the Costick Activities Center, 28600 11 Mile Road, Farmington Hills in the gymnasium on both Sunday and Monday, November 6 and 7, 2022. The same location will be used for our absent voter counting board to process and tabulate ballots on Election Day.

For more information, please feel free to reach out to me at 248.871-2420.

Respectfully,

Pam Smith, MiPMC/MMC
City Clerk
