City of Farmington Hills Announces Summer Performances Beginning June 26

The lineup features live performances at The Hawk Theater and the Heritage Park Amphitheater through July

 

The City of Farmington Hills invites residents to enjoy a full season of summer performances featuring live music, theater and community entertainment. Presented by the Special Services Department’s Cultural Arts Division, the all ages series offers a broad mix of events designed to celebrate local talent and bring neighbors together throughout June and July.

 

Summer Performance Schedule

  • June 26 at 7 p.m.The Color Purple at The Hawk Theatre Mainstage
  • June 27 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.The Color Purple at The Hawk Theatre Mainstage
  • June 28 at 6:30 p.m.The Color Purple at The Hawk Theatre Mainstage
  • July 16 at 7 p.m. – Farmington Concert Band Big Band at the Heritage Park Amphitheater
  • July 23 at 7 p.m. – Farmington Community Band at the Heritage Park Amphitheater

 

Performances will be held at two City venues: The Hawk Theatre Mainstage inside The Hawk at 29995 W. 12 Mile Road and the Heritage Park Amphitheater at 24915 Farmington Road.

 

Farmington Hills is home to the largest municipal Cultural Arts Division in Michigan. The Division provides year-round arts programming, including classes, events and performances in visual and performing arts. It also operates The Hawk Makerspace, an immersive creative facility offering access to state-of-the-art tools and equipment for makers of all ages and abilities.
