NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR 2026/27
GENERAL FUND, SPECIAL REVENUE, DEBT SERVICE, CAPITAL PROJECTS AND COMPONENT UNIT FUND BUDGETS

In conformity with Article VI, Section 6.04 of the City Charter and Section 16 of the Uniform Budget and Accounting Act (MCL 141.436), notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held at 7:30 p.m. on June 8th, 2026, in the Council Chambers, 31555 West Eleven Mile Road. All interested persons will be provided an opportunity to present oral or written comments regarding the City of Farmington Hills proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2026/27 which is summarized below for all budgeted funds, exclusive of interfund transfers.  The Fiscal Year 2026/27 City Budget and the 2026 Property Tax Rate will be adopted at the City Council meeting on June 8th, 2026.

The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed fiscal 2026/27 budget, as authorized by City Charter, State Law, or Voter Approval, will be a subject of this hearing and is allocated as follows:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A copy of this information, the entire proposed budget and additional background materials will be available for public inspection starting on May 29, 2026, at the City Clerk's Office, City Hall, 31555 W. 11 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays; and on May 29, 2026 at the Farmington Hills Branch Library, 32737 W. 12 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, and also at the Farmington Branch Library, 23500 Liberty Street, Farmington, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
